   Classes
Piwi Classes:
These classes are for our youngest students, 5-8 year olds. There is a strong emphasis on fun, and to the untrained eye some of the training games may not be immediately relevant to the martial arts!
However, if you look a little closer, you will see that whilst the games are great fun, they have been specifically designed to improve qualities that are vital in martial arts, including fitness, strength, speed, co-ordination, flexibility, balance, timing, awareness, and reflexes. Many of these qualities are all too often overlooked in some more traditional classes.
Students are actively encouraged to continually learn new skills and to grade in order to achieve a new rank when they feel they are ready. We encourage parents and guardians to become involved in this, and students must return a form signed by Mum or Dad confirming that they have been well behaved and trying hard at school, before they are permitted to grade.
As well as physical skills we also work on subjects like nutrition, temper control, basic first aid, stranger danger, and more.

Training times for Piwi students are:
Andover: Thursdays 6.00pm - 6.45pm and Saturdays 9.45am - 10.30am
Newbury: Fridays 5.50pm and Saturdays 8.45am
Winchester: Thurdays at 5.45pm and Sundays at 4.00pm

Junior Classes:
These classes are for our slightly older students, ages 9 – 13 years. Much like the Piwi class, the training program includes many fun ways to develop important kickboxing skills like balance, fitness, strength and speed. These skills are a must for any martial artist, and they have to be developed fully…. But no one said it had to be boring!

Adult Classes:
The adult classes are specifically designed so that anyone, of any age or fitness level can benefit from and enjoy them.
There is a strong emphasis on health and fitness, but this is always geared toward your level, whatever it may be. You need no prior experience, and there is no maximum weight requirement, nor minimum fitness requirement to start enjoying kickboxing.
Regardless of whether you are an 18 year old with competition experience who wants to regularly compete in matches, or a middle aged housewife who would like a really cool way to lose weight and get in shape, or a pensioner who would like to maintain good health and strong bones – you can find what you are looking for at the Academy.

Adult class times are:
Andover: Mondays 6:15pm, Wednesdays 7.15pm and Saturdays 12:15pm
Newbury: Fridays 6.30pm and Saturdays 9.20am
Winchester: Thursdays at 6.30pm and Sundays at 4.45pm
