Building Power In Punches And Kicks

Try adding some plyometric strength training to your workouts. For instance, change push ups into jumping or clapping push ups, squats into squat jumps etc. For chin-ups, you can use the same principles. Drop down to straight arms and spring into your next lift. There are many good plyometric exercises that will give you more explosive power, not only in your punches and kicks, but also in your general movement.
